WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Members of three different programs received major awards as the Virginia Sports Information Directors announced the 2017 University Division All-State Volleyball team. Radford outside hitter Maddie Palmer was named Player of the Year, while Virginia Tech freshman phenome Kaity Smith was picked Rookie of the Year and VCU mentor Jody Rogers earned Coach of the Year honors.
