Virginia sophomore midfielder Maggie Jackson was named the 2017 Virginia All-State University Division Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Year, as voted on by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID). James Madison head coach Shelley Klaes-Bawcombe was named the VaSID All-State Coach of the Year while UVA’s Sammy Mueller was named the Rookie of the Year.
