WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Four different universities around the state earned highlight awards on the inaugural VaSID University Division Women’s Indoor Track & Field team. Virginia freshman Jada Seaman was named both the Field Athlete of the Year and Field Rookie of the Year, while Norfolk State middle-distance ace Martha Bissah was honored as the Track Athlete of the Year and George Mason’s Vilde Vage Henriksen was chosen as the Track Rookie of the Year. Virginia Tech’s Dave Cianelli was named the State Coach of the Year to round out the major award winners.
